The candidate will produce high-quality visual content that reflects our brand’s positioning, resonates with customers, and explores diverse styles to meet varying needs, such as product updates, reports, and campaigns. Additionally, s/he will identify creative opportunities to elevate the brand's perception and drive innovative design solutions.

Primary Responsibilities
- Using visual and creative design and appeal as a tool to stimulate growth by creating content for dynamic purposes and channels - social media channels, press, event marketing, etc. with the key objectives of increasing awareness, engagement, and driving acquisition, and retention.
- Working with the content team to test and experiment with different kinds of visual assets and content to discover and validate the best ways to visually communicate key messages.
- Collaborating with the growth and marketing team on key marketing initiatives as required.

An ideal candidate will bring:
- 1 - 2 years experience in visual design in a fintech or digital marketing agency.
- A marketer’s mindset - one that sees creative design as a tool to drive and meet business goals and needs.
- A creator’s mindset - grounded not only in design but in its applicable impact and purpose. As such, the ideal candidate must first be a marketer at heart, understand salesmanship, and see design as a tool to meet our extensive marketing needs.
- Creative spunk with a growth mindset - An ability to think creatively, ideate, execute, and see creative and design opportunities everywhere.
- Ability to adapt, think out of the box, and experiment with the brand guide, without being constrained.
- A business-oriented approach - an understanding of the impact of design on key business goals, and an interest in metrics that drive the business.
- Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma, and Illustrator.
- Experience with print, digital, and rich media.
- Social listening - up-to-date with current social media trends.
Reporting Line
The job holder will report to the head of Growth.
Compensation
The starting compensation for this role is between NGN500,000 – NGN600,000 monthly net.
